Made in Italy by Callipo, this Ventresca (tuna belly) from Yellowfin tuna is hand cut into fillets then packed by hand in 4.4 oz. easy-open cans. Ventresca tuna is sometimes referred to as "the foie gras of the tuna fish" as it is the richest, smoothest tuna you will ever find. Hours after their catch, each tuna is hand processed, cooked in fresh ocean water and packed in pure 100% virgin olive oil so that it retains its unique and smooth texture and rich flavor. No cooking or other preparation is needed, you can use Ventresca tuna right out of the can to make delicious tuna salad and tuna sandwiches!
